Men are quite lucky; we women are complex creatures. We are attached to things, we feel we can't live without. It's the vanity thing. Even my grandmother, may she rest in peace, did not leave the house without red lipstick, some blush and pearls, or some type of adornment.
I can't leave town for four days, without bringing enough clothes for two weeks, and while left to my own devices this evening....(time on my hands), I went shopping for post christmas sales...I know...but I deserve it.
That only skims the surface. Usually when I travel for more than a week, the other suitcase only contains shoes, for you know these have to match an outfit, and one needs comfortable, shoes as well.
Enough!
Men really do have the advantage of being able to travel light. I mean, just the bulk of sanitary napkins take a lot of space in the luggage. Men don't even need much toilet paper even (only on ocassion), while we can't just flap that thing dry you know...even if we did a little shimmy dance....perhaps raising a leg to the hand dryer would do the trick...if those were installed inside the stalls of course. Otherwise, well, going into a ladie's restroom, would be quite disturbing and might permeate such room with a peculiar aroma.
Change of subject. You know how I knew I was in Vegas? When I went to get coffee this woman comes in with a 50's style beehive, up...up...up to there.
